Building Hope for Those Who Served: Habitat’s Veterans Build 2025, Presented by Vertical Bridge, Inspires Countywide Support
Palm Beach County, FL — December 1, 2025 — Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County proudly hosted its annual Veterans Build 2025, presented by longtime supporter Vertical Bridge, uniting more than 100 volunteers, community members, and corporate partners in a powerful day of service across Palm Beach County.
This annual day of service is also a vital fundraiser for Habitat’s mission to support veterans in need of safe, stable housing. Through the combined success of the January 2025 Kick-Off Party, the inaugural Aim to Build Sporting Clay Tournament, and Veterans Build itself, the initiative raised more than $247,000 to fund future veteran home repair and renovation projects.
This year’s build continued Habitat’s unwavering commitment to honoring and supporting those who have served our nation. Volunteers participated in home revitalization projects benefiting five veteran families, with job sites spanning Jupiter, Riviera Beach, West Palm Beach, and Boynton Beach. The team also completed impactful work at Vetsville, a sanctuary that provides shelter and support for homeless veterans.
“Vertical Bridge is honored to continue our meaningful and significant partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County for the 2025 Veterans Build,” said Ron Bizick, President and CEO of Vertical Bridge. “We’re proud to mark our eighth consecutive year supporting this initiative, which not only provides safe, affordable homes for veterans – it also reinforces the strength and resilience of the communities we’re proud to be part of. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much for us."
Leadership for this year’s initiative was once again provided by Co-Chairs Michael Maglio and Clint Rowe, joined by Tiffany Maglio and Rose Lowe, whose dedication helped drive an outstanding day of impact. They were supported by the Veterans Build Committee: Art Roffey and Gail Danto (Honorary Co-Chairs); Anne Desormier-Cartwright; Julia Dattolo; Ryan Paton (Committee Reserves); Andrew Filauro; Anta Plowden; Anthony Nastase; Ashley Carroll; Carey Clarke; Chad Ryan; Debbie Meyers; Donna Kerner; Ivan Rosa; Joel Villahermosa; Jon Raybuck; Justin List; Nelie Shah; Nicholas Cannon; Rahul Sudhakar; and Shane Kelly.
Following the morning’s work, volunteers and community members gathered for the American Dream BBQ at the Intracoastal Park and Clubhouse in Boynton Beach. Guests enjoyed live music, entertainment, and a BBQ lunch while celebrating the day’s achievements. During the event, Habitat honored local veterans and service members, presenting custom Habitat challenge coins as a symbol of gratitude and respect. Sponsors and partners were also recognized for their generosity and commitment to supporting safe, stable, and affordable housing for veterans.
“Veterans Build is about serving those who bravely served our nation,” said Jennifer Thomason, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County. “It’s an opportunity for our community to come together, honor their service, and ensure the veterans who call Palm Beach County home have the stability and support they deserve.”
Habitat for Humanity extends its deepest appreciation to all volunteers, donors, and partners—especially presenting sponsor Vertical Bridge—for making Veterans Build 2025 a transformative day of service and community unity.
