BOYNTON BEACH, FL (July 12, 2026) — Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County will host its annual Veterans Build 2026, presented by Vertical Bridge, on Friday, November 6, 2026, bringing together veterans, corporate partners, community leaders, and volunteers to complete critical home repair and revitalization projects for local veterans in need.

This year’s event will support six veteran households throughout Boynton Beach, helping ensure that those who have served our nation can continue to live safely and independently in their homes. Volunteers will roll up their sleeves for a morning of service, completing projects like landscaping, exterior painting, exterior improvements, and more.

Veterans Build 2026 is supported by a dedicated group of community leaders committed to honoring those who have served our nation. This annual event is co-chaired by Carey Clarke, CEO and Founder of Magen Protective Services and a U.S. Army Veteran, Anthony Nastase, Owner of Tropical Springs Realty, and Joel Villahermosa, Owner of Graze Craze North Palm Beach, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.  Together, the trio will lead fundraising efforts and inspire community participation in Habitat’s signature veteran-focused service initiative.

“Veterans Build is more than a project. It’s an opportunity for our community to give back to those who have given so much,” shared the Veterans Build 2026 Co-Chairs. “While we each serve in different ways, we are united by our gratitude for the sacrifices made by our nation’s veterans and their families. Helping a veteran family achieve and maintain the dream of homeownership is one small way we can honor their service and make a lasting difference.”

Serving as Honorary Co-Chairs are Clint Lowe and Rose Lowe, along with Michael Maglio and Tiffany Maglio, whose leadership and philanthropic support help advance Habitat's mission of serving local veterans. The event is further strengthened by an accomplished Committee that includes Art Roffey, Gail Danto Anne Desormier-Cartwright, Ryan Paton, Julia Dattolo, and Chuck Millar (Committee Reserves), and Cristian Albanil, Chris Barr, Brandon Cabrera, Marden Castano, Paul Crowdis, Andrew Filauro, Murray Fournie, Patrick Hart, Dr. Shane Kelly, Jessica Martinez, Alexandra Nguyen, Michael O'Brien, Vince Papale, Bob Pedraza, Jon Raybuck, Ivan Rosa, Jeff Sassano, and Thomas (TJ) Wagner (committee members).

“Veterans Build is about serving those who bravely served our nation,” said Jennifer Thomason. “It’s an opportunity for our community to come together, honor their service, and ensure the veterans who call Palm Beach County home have the stability and support they deserve.”

For many veterans, maintaining a safe and accessible home can become increasingly difficult due to aging, disabilities, financial hardship, or unexpected life challenges. Through Veterans Build, Habitat provides critical repairs and improvements that help preserve homeownership, enhance safety, and restore dignity for those who have sacrificed so much in service to the country.

Following the morning’s projects, participants and sponsors will gather at the American Dream BBQ, a festive luncheon honoring veterans, celebrating our volunteers and sponsors, and highlighting the day's collective impact.

The 2026 event also marks nine consecutive years of presenting sponsorship by Vertical Bridge, whose steadfast commitment has helped Habitat expand its reach and provide critical support to veteran families throughout Palm Beach County.

Veterans Build continues to serve as one of Habitat’s most meaningful annual initiatives, addressing the housing needs of those who have worn the nation’s uniform while strengthening neighborhoods and fostering community connections.

Leading up to Veterans Build, Habitat will host the 2nd Annual Aim to Build Sporting Clay Tournament on October 23, co-chaired by Mayor J.P.
