About Representative Tendrich:

State Representative Debra Tendrich proudly serves Florida House District 89, representing communities throughout central and southern Palm Beach County. Elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2024, she is recognized as a dedicated public servant, nonprofit leader, and advocate for healthier, stronger communities.

Before her election to the Legislature, Tendrich built a distinguished career in the nonprofit sector, serving as the founder and executive director of Eat Better Live Better, an organization focused on improving health outcomes, food access, and community wellness. A survivor-turned-advocate, she has transformed personal challenges into a lifelong commitment to helping others and advancing positive change.

Since taking office, Representative Tendrich has focused on issues including healthcare access, education, public safety, environmental sustainability, and improving quality of life for Florida families. She serves on several key committees, including the State Affairs Committee, Health Care Budget Subcommittee, Student Academic Success Subcommittee, Natural Resources & Disasters Subcommittee, Information Technology Budget & Policy Subcommittee, the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee, and the Select Committee on Property Taxes.

A resident of Lake Worth and a proud Palm Beach County community leader, Tendrich has received numerous honors for her service and advocacy, including the President Joseph R. Biden Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award, the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit of the Year Award, and Healthcare Advocate of the Year recognition from the Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Florida American Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Representative Tendrich remains committed to working across communities to address the needs of residents, strengthen local economies, and ensure that every Floridian has the opportunity to thrive. Her leadership continues to be guided by a belief that effective public service begins with listening, collaboration, and a dedication to improving lives.
