I had just moved to Boca Raton from NJ and wanted to start a new life. But I was lost. At 54, I didn’t know who I was or what I wanted to do with my life. One thing is for sure, I didn’t want to be an HR Director anymore. Instead i wanted to give back and make a positive impact in some way. I had just broken up with my long-term boyfriend, who moved down to Florida with me. My high school daughter was struggling as she transitioned into a new school, and my older daughter had just changed colleges from Boston to Tampa.  Our lives were spiraling out of control. My business idea to start a life coaching practice flopped. To pay the bills, I had just started a dead-end job that wasn’t working out…and by the grace of God, I bumped into Lynn in the shared kitchen of our office building. She gave me her card that read” The Identity Coach.” This was no accident because I had lost my identity! 

Over a period of 3 months, and even to this day, when I see Lynn, she inspires me to make positive change and create opportunities. She helped me set goals every week and define who I wanted to be as a professional and a life partner. Lynn helped me build a foundation, focus on my accomplishments every week, and find myself again.  Due to her insights and weekly assignments, my self-awareness and self-confidence increased, I stretched my comfort zone, met the man of my dreams, and started my best career ever! I finally found my life purpose, and I’ve never felt more fulfilled, balanced, and at peace. I finally have my identity back and better than ever! I also got involved with Inner Power Partners (IPP), which gave me a sense of community and family. I came out of my shell, made new friends and contacts, and strengthened my networking skills. I met a director of a non-profit whose staff needed career coaching. I was able to volunteer and practice my career/life coaching skills, and complete my life coaching certification. The story I told about helping one of the staff members find a permanent job landed me my current job as an admissions coordinator and career coach, guiding professionals into the right graduate programs at a local university! 

Thanks to Lynn, three years later, my life is better than I could have ever imagined. Bless you, Lynn, for all that you do! You’ve dedicated yourself to transforming lives! Not only is my life better, but my daughters are too. And I can make a positive impact on our future leaders with every interaction!
