We have locations in Coral Gables, Davie, Downtown Doral, Brickell, Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, South Beach, and Hallandale, and seven new locations are opening this year.

JOB SUMMARY: A dishwasher in a cafe is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. They work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to upholding health and safety regulations. Dishwashers play a vital role in the overall customer experience by ensuring that all dishes are clean and ready for use.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate the dishwasher and ensure all dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized.

• Sort, stack, and store clean dishes in an organized manner.

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or preparing garnishes.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dishwashing area.

• Empty trash bins and ensure trash is disposed of properly.

• Keep the dishwashing area and kitchen floor clean, dry, and free of hazards.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.

• Work efficiently to keep up with the pace of the kitchen during peak hours.

• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding any dishwashing or kitchen maintenance issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
