Featuring Vice Mayor Marci Woodward
Join us for a special Successful Women in Business luncheon featuring an engaging, interview-style conversation with Vice Mayor Marci Woodward, a respected civic leader and advocate for thoughtful growth, collaboration, and community engagement.
This interview facilitated by Sarah Pearson, Executive Vice President, Boca Chamber, we will hear from Vice Mayor Marci Woodward on her leadership journey, her experiences navigating public service, and the lessons she has learned as a woman leading at the municipal level. Through candid conversation, attendees will gain insight into decision-making, balancing leadership and service, and the importance of civic involvement in shaping strong, thriving communities.
Designed as a moderated dialogue rather than a traditional presentation, this luncheon invites attendees into a meaningful conversation centered on leadership, impact, and the evolving role of women in government and business across Boca Raton and South Palm Beach County.
Commissioner Marci Woodward, a 20-year Boca Raton resident, was elected in November 2022 to represent Palm Beach County’s District 4 and currently serves as Vice Mayor. She is leading efforts to make homeownership more attainable through the development of a new Homebuyer Match Program. She is also advancing the Countywide Transportation Master Plan, bringing municipalities together to address congestion, traffic signalization, and long-term mobility needs.
Collaboration is central to her leadership. Representing 13 municipalities, she works closely with local, county, and state partners to improve transportation, support responsible growth, and protect environmentally sensitive and agricultural lands. She is equally committed to strengthening the workforce pipeline through partnerships with CareerSource, business leaders, and educational institutions.
Commissioner Woodward maintains an open-door policy and values community input, ensuring residents remain informed and engaged in county policies and programs.
