Description

You are invited to join us for a special joint meeting of the Government Affairs and Economic Development Committees for an important informational session focused on the two questions that will appear on the March 10 ballot.

This briefing will provide members with direct insight from subject-matter experts and outline why The Boca Chamber supports both initiatives as responsible investments in Boca Raton’s future.

Program Overview

Municipal Bond Referendum – Police Headquarters
We will hear from Jim Zervis, CFO, City of Boca Raton, who will walk through the proposed Municipal Bond Referendum to build a new Police Headquarters and discuss its importance to public safety, operational readiness, and long-term fiscal planning.

Proposed Government Campus Ballot Question
We will also hear from Rob Frisbie, Principal with The Frisbie Group, who will discuss the proposed Government Campus project, including its community benefits, private investment structure, and long-term impact on downtown Boca Raton.

After careful evaluation, The Boca Chamber supports both ballot initiatives as thoughtful, forward-looking investments that enhance quality of life, strengthen public safety, and protect taxpayers.

This session is designed to inform, clarify, and provide members with the facts surrounding both questions ahead of the March 10 vote.
