Amanda Hughes serves as the Manager of Business & Economic Development for the Palm Beach County Department of Housing & Economic Development, where she oversees the County’s Business Loan Program. In this role, she helps local businesses access financing solutions designed to bridge funding gaps that traditional lenders may not be able to fill.
With a strong focus on supporting a thriving local economy, Amanda works to help businesses grow, encourage investment, and create jobs throughout Palm Beach County. A Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in accounting and auditing, she brings extensive financial expertise and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by small businesses.
Amanda is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. Outside of her professional career, she enjoys traveling, discovering new places, and spending time experiencing all that South Florida has to offer.
