Renee is a distinguished Senior Executive HR Professional with a passion for people and Human Resources (HR), which has driven her impressive career for over 20 years. Renee is well-versed in all HR disciplines, with a wealth of experience that spans a variety of industries to include – financial institutions, education marketing, for-profit education, and healthcare. Renee's career includes notable roles at prestigious financial institutions such as Bank of America, Citizens Bank, and Carver Federal Savings Bank. She has also served in significant positions including Regional Director of HR for tNorth America, Vice President of HR, and Chief People Officer. Currently, Renee is the Founder and Chief HR Consultant of The HR Boutique.
Renee’s academic credentials are equally impressive. She is a certified senior professional in HR by the HRCI, holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, a Master of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University Law School. She is also a Certified Executive Coach and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Management with a concentration in Organizational Leadership. Renee also holds several specialized certificates in HR Management, Compensation & Benefits, Mediation and DEI.
Renee’s expertise lies in employee relations and leading comprehensive HR and people processes and strategies with a legal lens. Renee is recognized as a trusted business partner; and advisor and counsel to CEOs, C-suite executives, and senior leaders on all matters related to people and HR. This elite group of leaders often refers to Renee as the “HR Whisperer” and the “Transition Expert.”
In addition to her professional and educational accomplishments, Renee imparts her knowledge as a facilitator and an Adjunct Professor at Southern New Hampshire University, where she teaches courses in employment and labor law, human resources, business, and leadership. Renee also formally taught at Cornell University; courses included, employee relations, employment and labor law and various HR courses.
