About Mike Caruso
Mike Caruso, a Certified Public Accountant and former Florida State Representative, was recently appointed Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller for Palm Beach County by Governor Ron DeSantis. After serving in the Florida House since 2018, Caruso now oversees the safeguarding of public records and taxpayer funds as the county’s constitutional officer. A longtime advocate for accountability and fiscal transparency, he brings both legislative and financial expertise to his new role, continuing his lifelong commitment to public service.
